This cape juts straight into the Salare Il Lago. Sight is limited by the dense shrubbery and uniformly placed pines and evergreens. The upper tip is vacant of any foliage due to a fire started by a lighting strike a few years back. The lake is quite a scene from this vantage point. As you step through the ash, one may notice that though the land is still barren, it‘s not unattractive. The flames melted and polished rocks, leaving behind smooth shapes within the mud .
